Terms of Service

Welcome to RoutePilot Assist. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and RoutePilot Assist governing your use of the RoutePilot Assist mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). Creating an account (or, for Google Play installs, simply opening the app) means you agree to these Terms — please read them.

1. Who Can Use RoutePilot Assist

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service.

2. Your Account

Depending on how you installed the app, RoutePilot Assist identifies you either through an account you sign in to (email/password or Google account via Firebase Authentication), or — for installs distributed through Google Play — through a private, anonymous identifier created automatically the first time you open the app, with no sign-in step required. Either way, you're responsible for everything that happens under your identifier, and shouldn't run multiple installs to farm extra trials or dodge a suspension.

3. What the Service Actually Does

RoutePilot Assist is an ergonomic and accessibility-focused helper app. It's built for people who spend long stretches of time looking at and repeatedly tapping a phone screen, and who deal with hand fatigue, limited dexterity, or repetitive-strain discomfort during long sessions. You configure your own preferences (thresholds, filters, and more), and the app can optionally use Android's Accessibility Service to read on-screen text from a supported app so you don't have to manually read and react to every piece of information yourself. You're responsible for how you use it. RoutePilot Assist is independently built and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform or employer.

4. Free Trial

New accounts/installs may receive a time-limited free trial, or — for Google Play installs — a free-trial offer configured on the subscription plan itself and enforced by Google Play. We can adjust trial length or eligibility at any time, and reserve the right to decline a trial to accounts we believe are abusing the offer.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Stacking

• Paid plans are monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual, as shown at checkout.
• Payments are handled exclusively through Google Play Billing for Google Play installs. By purchasing, you authorize the charge.
• If you buy a new plan while a previous one is still active, the new plan's days are added on top of your remaining time rather than resetting your access from that moment — you keep everything you already paid for (where supported by the distribution channel).
• Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change over time; a change never retroactively affects a plan you've already purchased.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. Google Play purchases are additionally subject to Google Play's own refund policies.

7. Fair Use & Fraud Prevention

Don't misuse the Service — that includes reverse engineering it, reselling or sharing access, filing fraudulent disputes, or working around payment. We may suspend or permanently close accounts we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud, abuse, or chargeback abuse, without a refund. A dispute or chargeback filed against a valid, completed purchase — rather than contacting us first — can result in immediate, permanent loss of access.

8. No Guarantees

The Service is offered "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any specific outcome — results depend on factors outside our control.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RoutePilot Assist won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at whatever you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Ending Access

You can stop using RoutePilot Assist whenever you like. We may suspend or end access for a violation of these Terms or for any other lawful reason.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
